Free National Park Entry
Want to visit national parks for free? The National Park Service has you covered with six fee-free days in 2025. Starting January 20th (MLK Day) through November 11th (Veterans Day), you can explore places like Yellowstone or the Grand Canyon without paying entrance fees - which normally run about $35 per vehicle. Important note: This covers park entry and commercial tours, but not extras like camping permits. My cousin works at Yosemite and says these free days get busy by mid-morning. Solution? Target the April 19th date during National Park Week - spring weather means smaller crowds than summer. Just verify dates on their site before you go.
