Free Craft Events At Michaels

Here's a great find for crafty families or anyone wanting to try something new: Michaels' free January and February craft events. They run two types - Sunday Makebreaks where you buy the base item (canvas, fabric, charms) and get other supplies free, and Kids Club events that are completely free with all materials provided. The projects sound fun - beaded keychains, Valentines cards, spring flowers, and more. All in-store, of course. Just visit their events page, find your local store's schedule (they have dates listed through February 28), and choose which workshops fit your schedule. It's a perfect opportunity to learn techniques in a relaxed setting. The winter painting session on January 4th looks particularly inviting.
